My daughter is a planner. She plans everything. So it was no surprise when from among new purchases she picked out her outfit for the first day of school, ironed them and hung them up for the following morning. The surprise came when I asked what she wanted done with her hair. I anticipated her saying a variation on one of these three styles: box braids, twists or a wash-n-go.
Well, my daughter surprised me. She opted for none of the above and went in a completely different direction. She wanted to tryto the CurlFormers on her entire head. I loved the idea since we’d only ever used the CurlFormers in an up-do, with the tresses of her ponytail curled. I was just as excited about seeing the result as she was.
Although I needed the extra long CurlFormers, we were very pleased with the ‘do. We used an entire 40-pack of the CurlFormers Long and Wide on a two-day old twist out. Truthfully, I could have used another pack, her hair is very thick. Nia was able to get two days out of this style. She maintained it with a satin bonnet at night. After the second day, I gathered Nia’s hair into a high pony and she wore that style for the remainder of the week.
Here’s the result:
